Turkey week

So, football is over. Jman LOVED football! He could hit & knock other kids down without getting in trouble, what's not to like.
Now we move on to Basketball @ the "Y" .. my personal fav is Baseball; come on Spring!!

Turkeyday was good. My mom & sis "P" went to Albuquerque for 5 days to celebrate Tday and "P"s birthday. Sis has decided she will spend every Tday/bday on a trip somewhere, since her bday is the 26th. I can't complain since I got some BEAUTIFUL turquoise jewelery.

As for the whole Black Friday thing, I was on the computer at 3am to get Scotts gifts, got everything I wanted by 5am! Sure does beat standing in the cold!

So, anyway, life goes on.
I now work at a mortgage company; I do not know why everyone asks" are ya'll slow with the Economy the way it is?" NOT!!
We are slammed!! Of course, my company is an Elite Lender for a major builder here in town, along with the fact that we are the onsite Lender so we have continuious drop in contracts from their sales people.. LOVE IT!! As long as we keep up to pace we are guaranteed work. Aside from the fact that I cannot seem to make it home til an hour before J's bedtime I am loving it!

"S "has recently aquired 2 new stores after some downsizing within the company which requires him to travel almost 3 hours into Mississippi on a one way trip to restock 2 stores. He was not too happy. but at least we were not "downsized!"

BBall sign ups end tomorrow, so soon I will be posting schedules for anyone who would like to see pre-pro 7-8 year old Basketball. I say this because one day you can tell people you watched Jonathon play ball @ the YMCA!

It has been a long year!

Well, here we are. Basketball is about to start for 2008, and I have been lazy on the Blog front.

It is now bedtime and I am being summoned, so more later!

First Day Back

So, here we are again, back to the routine. Believe it or not this morning was actually OK! Jonathon gave not problem 1.
Job search still on, i have an interview Tue. @ 4:30 with an Endodontist for Receptionist, which would be a nice slow change from the last office, with BETTER PAY!! then another Wed @ 1:30 for 2 day a week Assistant, which would leave time for Snappy and other ventures.

Scott is in Tampa on business till tue. nite, so i have a sleeping buddy! Hope he doesn't wet my bed.

Moms hip is hurting her ALOT lately, so she finally gave in and has a Dr app tomorrow. She still insists no surgery, but ya gotta walk, right?

Basketball starts this Thur. the 10th @ the SE YMCA, first game at 6:30. Feel free to come and watch the munchkins.

So, am i big time now? Whatever. All is great here in Thomasville...... BBall practice with games starting in 1/08 @ the SE YMCA. Xmas over..what happened? Wasn't I just waiting for it?

Oh well. Still job searching, by the way just how many resumes can you send with no response?Apparently quite a few. But i guess that's what I get for getting mad and leaving work like so many before me. (oh wait... but they didn't lose their job! DOOH!). It must be fate someone keeps saying.
But i digress, fate wouldn't be so kind would he? Maybe a nice case of syphillis to get the job done. OVERKILL?

Enough for know, my first time has worn me out..(pantpant)
